If you work with several monitors, you now have more options to divide the live or alarm pages with camera images and site plans on the various monitors, because the tool and resource bars can be arranged on the left OR the right, depending on your choice. This flexibility provides the benefit that the bars are out of the way when the mouse is moved from one screen to the next.
There are further advances in ergonomics. In order to increase readability, a dark or light surface design can now be set in the IPS NextGen Client, depending on the ambient brightness or preference. This is also useful for adapting the user interface to the look of other applications.
In order to display full-screen views without text, which is often used on monitor walls or pure video views, the headers and footers in video images and site plans can now be completely hidden. They become visible when the mouse is used. The overlays are transparent and a pin in the header can be used to set whether they should be visible permanently or automatically.
