Together with Matthias Bohnert, colleague from the Business Development department at Securiton Germany, IPS Partner Manager Alain Benoit visited the IPS Solution Partner Securiton Hungary in Budapest in August. Benoit already visited the Hungarian partner at the beginning of the year to discuss the specific requirements in the environment of automobile manufacturers.

The automotive industry is a popular target for hacker attacks, forced production stops and industrial espionage.  According to the Allianz Risk Barometer 2021, business interruptions and cyber incidents are among the top business risks.  Not only are the manufacturers themselves affected, their suppliers have also been targeted by the attackers.  Supply chain attacks damage multiple systems simultaneously, which is why they are considered so effective and severe.  With the certification according to the standard for information security TISAX┬« (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) defined by the German automotive industry, the secure exchange of information between OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and suppliers is proven.  The more sensitive the information values ??to be processed, the more protective measures must be used.  Through video surveillance with intelligent video analysis, the required instruments can be brought together and mapped in just one system in order to detect dangers and irregularities in real time, to alert as soon as the danger arises and, moreover, to support the security staff fully automatically during the intervention.

With many years of experience and the most modern  video surveillance software, IPS is the ideal partner when it comes to securing modern production facilities in the automotive environment.  Alain H. Benoit draws a consistently positive conclusion: "We are pleased that we can support our solution partner Securiton Hungary with our expertise in securing large automotive plants and look forward to the upcoming projects".
